Hi can anybody help
I have a Wurlitzer OMT 1015, it plays CD's and is approx 15 years old, my problem is that it selects the CD and the disc begins to spin and stops. I have blown any dust away and gently cleaned the lens, it played a couple of songs and has stopped again. The lens seems to go up and down as though it is reading the CD but nothing happens??
I live in the Merseyside area and unsure whether anybody can make any suggestions regarding the issue and whether there's any repair guys in the area
Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy, I have no idea why "Phil" posted what he did, other then John at flippers, has posted, info on this product there ? --this is a typical failure of the laser diode. You will need to determine which of 4 CD models was used in your phonograph, and either have it rebuilt (if parts are available), or possibly update the phono to use the last type (CDM-PRO-2) player. Please see our "posting rules", as stated in our user introduction section--I have NO idea where the "Merseyside area" is nor in which country it is ?? Ron Rich
