Hi! Have a W3700 juke, been in storage a very long time. Record player had fallen through (rubber mounts wasted), platter motor seized, and belts gone. Took care of that stuff.
After doing some research on this machine, I see that someone put a W3600 control box in it. I can't find any real reason why that would be a problem. Is it?
The 3600 and 3700 chassis seem to be identical. If that 3600 box won't work in this juke, I'll stop on it until I have the right one. I don't know if it has ever worked with that box.
The stereo amp is bad, probably because a voice coil is dragging. Don't care about that right now. I want to get the unit operational, then I'll take care of the audio.
Right now I'm going through the machine, getting things moving again/re-lubing, ohming out and De-Oxiting all switches and contacts, etc.
Appreciate any help! I was an electronics repair tech for 20 years, and have fixed a couple jukeboxes (220, 1015 OMT). Just haven't been into one like this.
Thanks!

Hi Steve, Other then the "voice coil" problem ( a dragging VC, has nothing to do with the quality of the amp ?), it sounds as if you are operating in the correct direction--for more "hints" refer to our FAQ's section, and find the URL for "flippers"--John has posted much about WurliTzers there.
