I was looking at a friends 3800 jukebox for him, it keeps repeating the same record over and over again. when I tried to scan carousel it just hums and wont turn. I turned carousel by hand to a different record and get same result. He said it was working fine and just started doing this. any suggestions? thanks Mike

I hesitate to write this--how good is this "friend" ? If what I suspect was wrong with that phono is correct, by turning the carousel, by hand, you have annihilated one of the read out switch actuators, which were made out of PURE un-obtanium -- Check the read out switches --Lotza luck ! Ron Rich
