ok as they title stated a rockola legend harley edition cd100 i belive a 1997 model. I was getting the standard cdpro spin stop spin stop spin stop. I replaced the optical eye with a new one. Same thing spin stop spin stop. upon service mode entry i get mechanism error i also get no amp found as well. The power supply shows good voltage output. The amplifier has power. But the keypad entry numbers have to be sporatic number combos to make it go for a cd then we get spin stop spin stop. Im thinking computer problems. It has the orange syber sound computer. I removed it and see what looks like a overheated line voltage regulator which i will change this week. I also noticed someone did some handy work to the back side of the board adding a resistor and also a germainium diode from the resume button to the power output of the what appears to be junk line voltage regulator. Anyone have any ideas what they think it could be? Or any expierence rebuilding the orange model sybersound computers. Any info or advice is greatly appreciated. This one is kicking my butt. I would be happy to document the rebuild for the forumn if i can get it going

"added--a germanium diode---" ? Why would anyone use a "germanium" type in 1997, or later ? Try contacting Geo. at RockOla. Ron Rich

well looks like a diode between output power leg and resume button I guess technically its not a germanium it would be Schottky Diode. I am assuming they were jumping 5volts to the resume button for some odd reason. maybe the decoder board is bad on the cdpro player and not the computer
I will give him a shout thank you
