Rockola 469 Gripper Motor Issue

My name is Gary Little and I have a Rockola 469.

Lately it has developed a fault and I am wondering if anyone else has experienced and rectified a similar fault.

The records are being selected from the carousel OK.

However when the record has finished it's not gripping the record correctly to place it back in the carousel.

Having watched the action dozens of time it's as if there is a delay in the movement of the bar moving across to grip the record.

If I eject a record using the manual switch mechanism everything works fine.

I have lubricated all the parts I think are associated with this.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Your post is extremely confusing ?? I have no idea what the gripper MOTOR, has to do with this ? I have no idea what '-the bar moving across---record" could be ? Please read "Hi Newbies" in our FAQ's section, then use the RockOla terms for items. Someone will probably help at that point--You might also read the above (red-pinned sticky) on gripper problems, in this section. Ron Rich
