Hi Charlie, You didn't leave any clue here as to what, is out of time / your problem is---- I would suggest you try turning the "outside gear" over 180 degrees -- Ron Rich

OK, some progress the gripper arm will load the record onto the turntable, turntable is turning, amplifier is not working and when record is finished nothing happens, the tone arm does not return and the gripper arm does not grab the record
Thanks in advance Charlie

Hi Charlie-- What didja find on the gripper problem ?? Amp not working is a clue-- Not 100% sure--you will need to read the schematic, but I think the amp must be working for the end of record reject switch to be powered ? Ron Rich

The gripper release gear was in the wrong position, I ended up rotating the gripper arm halfway between the record and the turntable ( I had the gripper motor off) and install the release gear. Guess I'll start with the turn arm switch if thats ok move on to the mute relay

Charlie, The tone arm switch is VERY "delicate" --seldom gives any problems, unless it's been "messed with-- see our FAQ's section on "continuity" and "contact cleaning". Ron Rich

Found the issue with the tone arm switch, the mute relay was stuck, amp had no power, tone arm switch is powered by the amp. Everything is working and music is playing. Rebuild amp next
Thanks for all the help Charlie
