Hi I have this wurlitzer 700 and in Puerto Rico we dont have people to give service for the jukebox. The turntabl is not rising enough to start playing the records. Im not understanding the service manual on how to repair the issue. Attached is the video of the issue. Hope somebody can help me or just tell me to wich website i can go and help me to resolve the issue. youtu.be/Ppl-BnuDW9U

Hi Leo, First -- have you oiled this phonograph ? Did you just get this phonograph ? Or did this just start happening ? Use 30 wt oil on all of the moving links, use a light grease on the lifter that pushes up on the turntable shaft. Ron Rich

Above the turntable shaft lift arm, there is a another shorter arm which follows a cam. That arm is connected to the shaft lift arm by a flat steel bar. If the turntable ever hits an obstacle while rising, this shorter arm gets twisted and the cam following roller runs on the cam at enough angle to prevent the turntable from rising all the way up. Sometimes, that shorter arm (with the roller on it) can be heated with a propane torch (carefully) and bent back into alignment. However, the original problem, the one that caused the issue to begin with, must also be addressed. It can be that two trays occasionally come out, or that one tray does not come all the way out to the play position. The first condition is adjustable, except if the associated parts are worn out. The second condition is usually a lubrication issue, but sometimes it can be caused by interference caused by a record or record plate not properly seated, or a bent or warped record holding ring. Cheers, Russie
