Adding aux input to Rowe amp

I am now trying to add a line level input to my R81 with stock amp so I can also fit it with a bluetooth module. I have found I can use the "test ports" to introduce my audio signal but I loose the bass from my audio when doing so. This juke can rattle the house with the bass when playing a record. Think I may be running into the issue that just because those ports are there, they probably weren't intended for what I am using them for. Has someone found a better line level aux audio connection point for the R2179A amp?

there might be an issue with introducing to high of an input signal, have you tried turning down the source audio?
