I'm in the process of putting the electric selector back together for a Wurlitzer 2150. I know the part I circled in red (number solenoid casting) rotates to hit the reverse and start switches but I have a question. Should I be able to rotate this freely by hand? When I tighten the screws down that hold it to the selector, it won't move freely by hand at all. I thought it did before I took it apart but I wanted to get clarification. Should I loosen the two screws that hold it in or am I missing something? Thank you.

Sorry, I'z comfuzzed why would you want that # coil holder, to "rotate"? As far as I can remember, that's stationary ? Ron Rich

Got this solved. The number solenoid casting pivots back and forth to actuate the start and reverse switches. It is held in by the large center bolt, two long screws and a spring. Mine wasn't pivoting back and forth to hit the switches. I had the washers in the wrong place and the screws too tight and it wasn't pivoting. I have adjusted the screws and bolt so that it pivots smoothly now.
