I can't tell if the scan start coil fires or not-- It is the one to the left of the stamped (serial ?) number on top of the shelf, near the rear of the phono. Ron Rich

OK I will try that. When I have it service mode it does release and let it make the two turns.

Ill film it again with my wife here so you can see everything I do to make sure Im not doing it wrong. I did pull the plunger. So in this order: turned machine on, ensured switch NOT set to service, insert credit, made selection, pull plunger.

Nothing the same thing you say in the first video. I pulled it and nothing moved.

Here is the video of me pulling the plunger. youtu.be/Ie3wHSmrWWE. I tried to attach a picture but no matter what I do with it the site says it is too big. If I manually move the switch the turntable does start to turn. However, when in resting position that lever is not holding the switch open, which stops the turntable and puts the machine back in resting position (turntable off). Does that lever need to be holding that switch open? Which would mean I need to adjust it.

"Attachments", are not being allowed--we are working on that problem--- may never again be allowed ?
Is the electrical contact "making" ? Did you verify that contact with an ANALOG type meter (power OFF), as stated in our FAQ's section ? Is the ratchet not holding it closed--NOT open, as it needs to remain closed for the basket to turn-- Ron Rich

Is the gripper "homed", with the MicroSwitch in the closed position ?-- Will the basket rotate, if you manually operate the lock solenoid ? Ron Rich

When the machine is in no credit mode the ratchet is about 1/16 of an inch off of the leaf switch. Should it be pressing the leaf switch to be open? When i activate that leaf spring and open it the turntable starts to turn, as you can see in the video. That is all that happens. I dont know how else to explain it for sure. In service mode the switch activates and the turntable takes its two turns. In play mode it doesn't do anything.
