I have a nice Rowe AMI JAO 'Bandstand' jukebox that I am overhauling. I am recapping the amp and preamp, cleaning everything up and rewiring the crusty stuff. However the power supply has an old selenium rectifier in it and a 1000mfd 50VDC cap on it. I have a few extra KBPC1010 (1000V; 150A; 700V; 10A) rectifiers laying around, will one of these replace the old selenium unit? I also have a TON of these: www.ebay.com/c/27022111453Will they suffice to replace the large can type cap on the power supply? The old one is about 3 inches tall and probably 1 inch in diameter. These new ones are 1 inch tall and 1/2 inch in diameter.

Yep-- but why "replace it" ? If good, it will probably last "forever" ?? Check it! Yep-- cap sizes have gotten smaller in the last 50 + years-- Look at the ratings on the cap-- probably the new ones are rated higher then the old one ! Ron Rich
