I just noticed, on Ebay, the "Vern Tisdale" Seeburg Cartridges for sale. I posted this just so everyone could take a look. I haven't any interest or connection to this endeavor. I haven't any knowledge beyond what I have stated here. It is pricey, but I supose if you need a cartridge you need a cartridge. When Vern was getting started making these I bought one of his first cartridges. Vern passed away a few years ago. As I understand his son sold some cartridges after his death perhaps he still is or the cartridge may now be made by someone else. I haven't any idea of the maker. The early one I have still resides in one of my Seeburgs and plays well (to me). We do not play the machine enough to judge record wear but it sounds good so far. I would expect with the installation of this cartridge you would need to make some tone-arm adjustments and needle brush adjustments. There is a short video on the Ebay listing. I copied the video link from Ebay below, It might work and it might not.

These also can be purchased directly from Vern's son, Jason, who has taken over Vern's supply business--see FAQ's above-- Ron Rich
