Hi,
I acquired a Wurlitzer 1080 and i am trying to restore/clean/oil it.
I opened the electric motor (Emerson 1140 rpm) and in doing it i damaged two wires that were connected to a device screwed on one of the case cup. I was not able to find a diagram or manual for the motor and there is not any information in the Wurlitzer manual. I don't know where the wires were connected therefore i don't know where to soldering them.
Please can you help? Where can I find more info about the Emerson electric motor? Any good forum/site where to find info about vintage electric motor?
Thank you in advance
Filippo

Filippo, those wires probably connect in series with the starter winding switch. At each end of the switch, there is a terminal, that is probably where those wire go. Upload a picture to confirm. Cheers, Russie
