Hi sorry, you are right, I put the cable in the hole it goes into the "input" hole. I wont be going back into the juke-box I may cause more damage.
yes, it only blows when the tube is fitted. At least I now know its the amp.
Here in the UK we don't have as many people who are experts on juke-boxes, as you do over there. I have only found 2 so I'm going to, have to, take a chance on one of them.

Hi Ron, I forgot to say that I noticed a small flash from the tube when the fuse blow. There is also a large heat mark on the glass of the tube, infront of a small plate.

Hi John, I am ASSuming, that the "heat mark" is what's called "the getter". This is a coating on the inside of tubes that is supposed to "get" an air that the vacuum failed to remove in the building process. "Flashing" indicates a problem-- can be just internal to that tube--- ?? Ron Rich
