Ron, these are short leads, only about three inches long. They are easier to deal with than trying to solder the end connector like Roger is trying to do! Norman.

Hi Norman, Yep-- I just looked- not what I need-- I need quad twisted wire of about 32 gauge,as used in Seeburg's tone arms-- and yea-- I do "gotta" solder to the old lugs, as I have never seen lugs of that type that I can purchase ! Ron Rich

I found some close to where I am. They are 12 inches long and 14 Can$. They only have connectors on one end and I’m waiting for them to confirm the diameter to make sure they fit on the Shure cartridge.

** UPDATE**
It works! Wow, those wires are small. I managed to slide the outer shield, the black cloth wrap, and the inner shield towards the amp end connector. I then staggered the connections and soldered the new wires. Heat shrink tubing I had was a bit bulky and consequently, I was unable to slide the inner shield over the splices. (But I haven’t noticed any interference or humming.)
That and a new stylus and I’m back in business with FULL stereo separation, great sound overall!
The only thing I’m not equipped to verify is the weight of the tone arm. Is there a way to check this, perhaps by visually estimating the needle deflection? Or should I just adjust the tonearm spring until it floats, then move it 3 prongs down? (User manual says it’s about a gram per step).
Thanks!
