Rowe Amplifier help

Hi hope some one can help with this one, i did read the post about signatures, i dont know how to do that having a bad day so please dont delete this post really need help with this

I have a rowe-r86 with Amp number 6-07438-04

Is a rowe Amp 6-07438-06 compatible in that can i use it instead of the -04 amp it looks exactly the same but i really need to find out for sure and cant find an answer on the net

Hi John,
Rowe part numbers are only six digits long-- the last two indicate the version number- Therefore a 607438, with any suffix, is interchangeable ( and, Oh, BTW, they dropped the "dashes" in the part numbers, after those amps were built). Ron Rich

thats absolutely brilliant thanks Ron and great news, the pics of the amps were identical so i was hoping they were the same but wasnt sure, my amp here i have had issues and its not working, over here it is very difficult to get it repaired would you believe and if you find a repairer it can take months, so i bought that other amp of ebay in the U.S he sais in working order, so until i can get the other repaired at least i will have that amp from the U.S
