Baltic 100 Gripper Arm issue.

Hi I'm very much new to this world but I'm keen to join in. The problem is this the gripper arm is frozen in the vertical position just before it would dip into the basket to pull out the record. If I release the the brake / stop mechanism of the carousel it will rotate as if to the next selection but the gripper arm remains stationery .
I have tried gently moving the gripper arm backwards as if on it's return journey to the turntable and this action does start the turntable revolving ,but the gripper only wants to return to it's frozen position waiting to dip into the basket. Obviously I've tried switching from service on /off & load / operate.
Any thoughts anyone ?

Hi,
These issues are usually lack of lubrication and or hardened grease. The Deutche Wurlitzer mechanisms are very much similar - you can find a lot of service tips, pictures, videos etc for OMTs on flippers.com which will also be applicable to your Baltic.
