Hello, any recommendations on cleaning the 27 contact socket and plugs on a Seeburg M100b ?
I have some Deoxit, and I used a toothbrush to try and clean the contacts, but to no avail.
When the two sockets from the electrical selector are plugged together, the Jukebox functions perfectly.
When I plug electrical selector blocks into the wired selector receiver ( a newly recapped unit ), only some selection blocks work.
I have a 3W1, but I am not likely to install it with the Seeburg.
Any cleaning methods for the pins and sockets that you can recommend ?
Thanks

I follow the directions on the Deoxit-5 can-- has yet to fail me on cleaning the Cinch-Jones plugs-- I wet the male and insert it into the female and remove it several times-- then wait till they are both dry, and do it again-- Ron Rich

Guyz, NOT a good idea, in my opinion-- contacts are silver plated--Dremmel removes the plating ! Ron Rich

I used Max Pro contact cleaner... sprayed, plugged and unplugged a few times. That got the job done ok. Then again, maybe mine had less crust.

Yes, for the most part.
Spray contact cleaner can be useful, but it is not the 'magic' answer.
Be careful where the residue winds up.
