I'm working on my friend's jukebox collection, and today we were working on a Wurlitzer 412, I recapped the amp, and that works fine, got the credit unit working correctly, everything works correctly, except the selector, as soon as credit is applied the mech plays one record after another until the credit is used up, regardless which buttons are pressed, it will push them back out when played, Does the side of the button pin trip the record selection, or the end of the pin? What could be wrong?
What is supposed to happen if you have credit, and no selections made?

For future reference With this jukebox you have to select your songs before you put in your money, or the jukebox will just play random songs until the credit is used up. This is normal operation for this jukebox. we tried it the proper way, ind it works fine.

Scott, For your future reference-- all jukeboxes were this way prior to the invention of an electric keyboard ! Instructions on the machine were very clear--select first--then drop coin(s) in ! Ron Rich

Hi Ron, The 412 I was working on was missing this plaque, I've never seen this type of system before, and spent several hours trying to fix the problem, that didn't exist,(I'm so glad I didn't try to adjust anything!) so I was trying to help the next person in the same situation. Good to know that all the similar units worked that way, I learned something new. I think I saw a later model that had a switch in the selector that started the play cycle when the button was pressed, after the credit was established. But I don't remember the model.
Thanks!, Scott
