First of all, I’m going to come right out and admit I haven’t read the manual. I am not an electrician and when I look at a schematic I might as well be looking at Egyptian hieroglyphics. It’s gibberish to me. So before I fork over $35 on a book I’m not sure I’ll even be able to read, when that money could go toward hiring a qualified repairman, I wanted to check with you guys: Is this something a total newb should be monkeying around with?
Anyway, 4 of the 20 letter selectors do not work on the model 3200 I just got. All of the numbers are working. And the rest of the letters work fine. Everything else works great as far as I can tell.
Before I go any further I just want to ask: Does this sound like an issue a guy like me might be able to fix on his own or should I just try to find an expert to do it for me? My fear is I’ll break something and not be able to use it at all when right now I can play 80 records, which is pretty good!

Hi Jake, Whatz a "selector" ? If you had the Manual, and read it, I might understand you better, and you might find that some individual keys on the keyboard are "turned off" ? Ron Rich
