There's a diagram in the manual. It's probably just the power amplifier module that has failed - is it in a socket or soldered in (pardon my ignorance - never seen one of these!), soldered I imagine? It's a Tripath TA2022 - you can buy them direct from China really cheap, maybe fake but probably still work OK!

Hi Norman, Is that a "branded" item -- or a "generic" item ? "Fake" ?? Or just "another Chinese brand" ( I have never seen this either ---) Ron Rich ?

It's branded AFAIK Ron, that's how it's described in the Rock-Ola parts list. I only did a very quick search and spotted it was cheaply available from Chinese sellers. If the module is in a socket, I think I would take a chance there - but if it's a solder job, I might be inclined to try to find a known reputable source.

Hi,
I had the same problem in my bubbler. Swapped the boards and it worked. I was told by a very reputable jukebox guy that there was/is an issue with a diode on the board. I just swapped the boards over and didn't bother to check any further as I wasn't going to use external speakers. Might be worth checking the diode(s) with a meter.

Hi Simon, If there is an inherent failure point with a diode, maybe you should get ahead of the game and check out your failed board in anticipation of your current board failing? I've had a look at the BOM for the main amp, there are eleven diodes used.

Hi jukenorman,
You are probably right. My intention was to sort the problem if I ever came to sell the machine (very doubtful if I'll sell it) but, if I get some time, I'll take a look at the board in more detail.
Thanks.
Simon

Hi all, I have the same problem with the same model number. I see that you swapped the internal cable to the external port. When I look at the 2 connectors side by side the wire configuration are not the same. I am concerned that i will create a new problem. Where your connector configuration exactly the same? Thanks, Guiness
