Hi Ron, I,m not completely sure but I think is "single phase split phase motor" it doesnt need , capacitors or extra "help" to start... Change it or repaire it? both solution are complicated. I have tried everything with old motor... i guess it is not the coil, is something about the hubs rotor or shsft bearing, as you said on your post... sometimes is stuck, but the pieces of metal are integrated, not removables... so its very difficult to replace them I also tried, to exchange the pieces of the new motor with the old one, but it is not suitable either. So, I think the lees complicate option, is adapting the new motor to thc chasis... I need some extra metal part pieces from ironmongery The only doubt i have is there will be a problem with electricity power ultimately...

Hi Carlos, That type motor is usually very dependable--IF, it gets oil-- did you try oiling it ?? On the power difference, I just do not know-- also, how about the speed of the new motor ? Ron Rich

Hi Ron, Yes I cleaned and oiled the motor I adjusted hubs and did everything I could... but the problem was as I said the small pieces (hubs) were not removables... At the end I have managed and fixed the new motor with the microwave one as shown on pics attached... (maybe could helps someone on the same situation) when lacking of replacements... At the moments motor on jukebox works fine but I have to check how it goes in a long time due to voltage changes... What aboout the right speed as you said??? seems to be ok by this time but I could use a dimmer to control and precise the speed... but first have to finish to rebuilt the tonearm and check the sound and in that way I can check the speed 45 rpm... hope to come back to forum next week to check the improvements. I recall the machine came with lots of problems that I,m have been solved step by step ( oiling, cleaning, adjusting, replacements coils and repairing pieces...etc)... its a hard job but very greatfull at the same time... I appreciate this forum help and hope to came back with good news soon... ibb.co/P5KnN4tibb.co/dPPRPxWibb.co/D5rRSxzibb.co/qxXNQmb

I was nearly finish my restoration project as you can check in video enclosed, but I got another fault on Harting m100k.. (Its been a lot of steps i had to take to get several improvements, etc)
For some reason it doesn,t finish the playing cycle, when record is finished playing, dont came to rest position, it is nothing about the switch, it is something more... I manually start the switch but nothing happens...
I need someone who knows bergmann or harting s100/ m100k.
I got the schematic and manual in german but i dont understand a word, and to be more practise
Is anybody have experience on restoring this machines? Which steps should I take before disarm the parts for checking, which is very difficult access?

Hi Carlos, You are a "brave man" ! I would never have attempted such a project-- That being said-- a suggestion -- Find someone who can translate that manual-- Find the other maker's manual--perhaps it can shed some light on your problems ?? Ron Rich
