Hi guys ive noticed my mute relay closes at the end of a record but in a few seconds opens again, if i touch it it will close again for a few seconds. Ive cleaned the connectors and the pins on the relay. I could try and open the casing and clean the contacts. Is this a must replace situation or am i not seeing the whole picture. pete

Its the ice cube type, it was just moving a little side to side would open or close relay contact, I took out the board and retouched all of the solder joints, it seems to be ok now, i will be keeping an eye on it for the next 5 songs or so. Pete ps forgot to answer you question, cam switch 3 when in position starts the mute sequence. I had already checked it to make sure it was operating and clean.

Hi Ron yes i cleaned the relay but i think one of the pins on the board was not soldered properly and would loose contact, thats why when i moved it left or right it would rock and cause contact, now its working perfectly. thanks again for the site. And the faq section, i use it allot. pete
