I am renovating the above and have a problem with the gripper ,it collects record moves to just above turntable ,the number 2 micro switch breaks and the gripper motor stops .I think it should reduce speed via a 22 ohm resistor and operate at a slower rate .Until the number 2 micro switch operates there is 28 volts DC at the gripper motor plug then nothing have manual .

Also on the service scan switch there is a wire wrapped around the wires going to the A-B switches not connected (looks like it never has been ) is this correct

Hi Pete,
It would be my GUESS, from what you have written, that the resistor is open, or, what ever switches in that resistor, is open--Dono about the wire--maybe an "accessory" ?? Ron Rich
