Will not write in. Electrically everything seems good. Pulled write-in motor.
Cannot turn gear by hand at all. Should I be able to? Removed motor from gearbox, still can't turn gearbox. Don't see any way to get it further apart, or am I doing this wrong?
Thanks!

Hi Mike, If you can't turn the gearbox from the motor end, then something is far wrong! I think, generally speaking, that these types of units aren't particularly user serviceable - replacement write-in motor required, I suspect!

Yeah, that motor doesn't seem to have any way to turn from the motor side. I pulled the motor off and hit the gearbox with the heat gun, got it freed up enough to turn! Put it back together and still didn't work with the motor. I guess I'll just try to flush out the gearbox as best I can and see if I can get it working before buying a replacement, what's the harm I guess, it's already broken! I did verify 25VAC at the plug though, so I feel like I'm CLOSE.
