This is my first post. I got a weird problem with my Rock-Ola 460. Everytime time when 4 or 5 songs have play, sometimes quicker, it will selects automaticaly record 175, that selection is not made, but plays anyway. After playing that song, the selector goes to the selection that being made ... en then suddenly ... there is again the song on selection 175 ... Your help is really appreciated!

Hi johnny1969,
On the selcetor wheel there is for each selection a pin. I assume that the pin for 175 is selected, means it is not in the same row like the other pins. If so, push it back with your finger and make selections again. Now it should not being played anymore. If this is right, then you could try and select 175 too. It should get played once only. If it gets repeated now again, then check the pin. In this case the selection doesn't get cancelled when being played.
Your 460 cannot remember the order of selections how you made them, it doesn't have a digital memory. It plays the selections in the order they get found on the selector. This might be the reason that 175 comes sooner or later.

Hildegard - I checked the pins and pins 175 just stands in normal position. I can select 175 ... Unfortunately after a while it plays again (Pins after in normal not selected position). When i just power up the Jukebox and select a couple of songs, suddendly you can guess it already ... there is 175. Spooky. I hope you or someone else got a solution. Thanks!

Hi Johnny, If I can paraphrase dear departed Ron - go read the stcky on how a jukebox works. When you've done that, next time your jukebox goes "randomly" to play 175, move the play/scan switch immediately to "off" and examine the selection pin. Has it somehow been set (is it loose for example with vibration causing it to move>)? This is a purely mechanical (maybe with electrical assistance) operation and there has to be a rational explanation. If the pin is not set, something is possibly shorting to mimic the pin being set at that location. No spooks, no gremlins!
Norman.

The pin is not out. Sticky problem, because i don't know what exactly happens. I'm trying to make video close up. Maybe someone sees something i don't. Thanks!
