Rock-ola Sybaris mute relay

Hi guys i have a Sybaris that has an issue with the mute relay, sometimes when i move it around i can get the sound when relay is in, even when i get sound I dont feel it is working , when i reject the record i  hear sound from the cart as its leaving the record. When i remove the relay i get sound, but also get  the same noise when arm lifts from turntable. If i leave the relay out i can hear a low hum coming from the speaker when record is not playing. Is there an easy way to test relay?, I removed board and reflowed all solder connections no change.   thanks for any advice  pete

Sorry to have wasted time, found the issue, the center pin from the connector that supplies the power to the relay was not completely fixed in place, this caused the cutting out issue and lack of voltage. Reset it and all works well. pete
