The slug rejector in my 100C has two issues:
1. It often reject (good) nickels)
2. When it does accept a nickel, it gives me 2 credits as if it was a dime.
I’m going to pull it out this weekend. I suspect #2 will be either some sort of a short between the nickel and dime credit wires, or a mis-alignment of the coin levers.
I’m a bit more puzzled by #1. I have properly cleaned the slug rejector (and have NOT lubricated it in any way). Do the magnets go bad, or get weak?
Any tips appreciated...
