As you fix one thing it can certainly reveal yet another issue. I have selected all 50 inner ring levers and the read-out carriage stops for none of them (at least it’s the B sides). The outside works fine. I’m guessing this can be a inner carriage contact or wiper or something down the line or in the disk? I hate the idea of removing the Readout carriage only to have to align it afterword’s. Any pointers?

Have you checked (ie cleaned) the A-B snap switch? It might well be dirty track and wiper contact though!

I took the read-out carriage off and cleaned inner and outer carriage contacts and associated spring clips, wiper contacts and tracks. I'll have a look at the A/B Snap SW. - Tom

The gripper and dog assembly linkage was not making a significant enough contact with the A/B snap switch. Only one of the two contactors were fully actuating. Thank you so much for your kind direction.
