rockola 474 not making 190-197 selections

A friend of mine has a 474 she says is not making selection at 190-197. The selector arm never stops at any of these selections.A selection can be made by hand and works fine.

Something not working right at the 190-197 input.All other selections working fine. 

It does look for the selection,but doesn't find it. I'm thinking selector board issue?

The first obvious question, is it making selections 290 - 297? Assuming it isn't, it would be a problem with the 9 digit - might there be an open circuit on the 9 contacts loop from the write-in circuit board? Otherwise, it appears it might take some serious fault finding to resolve.
