Hello Norman and everyone again; I open a new post discussion.
I am restoring a rockola capri 100 in quite bad mech and cosmetic condition so that,s why I lay hands on this forum again I had so many troubles that I have been sorted out, but I need help at this point again.
Thanks to Jukenorman could solve a very important issues, but when taking some more steps I realized how bad conditions it is.
WHAT HAPPEN A THIS POINT.
The credit coins does not let the coins in, is stuck ( But this point I will manage by my side).
So I manually press the coin relay, I think there are 3, each for a dime or half dollar, one dollar... etc...
So I could had up to 7 selections... That,s seems to work fine...
(It is the first time I see this kind of mech working)...
Each time I made a selection the arms at wobble plate started to rotate until the marked selection...
Once finished the 7 selections, but, the outside arm and magazine records dont stop spinning and the gripper arm dont pick up the record from carrousel to turntable...
I have the manual service but I found difficult to hang it because is lack of a easy graphic circuit scheme at this issue,
I can imagine could be a connection but where??? I check and calibrate the microswitch already.
I will still investigating by my side, meanwhile a support given is appreciate.

Hi Carlos, Page 14 of the manual - are the printed circuit disc tracks and the contacts on the contact plate spotlessly clean?

Hi Norman; I have cleaned the contacts at wobble plate.
read the manual, to get acquainted to tech terms, at least...
Made some checking.
_ interlock relay again
- home switch seems to work fine (alignment also)
- wobble coil at the top right hand side... seems to be "on" all time.
The good thing is that randomly made properly a whole cycle without problems..
but the rest of time, still spinning and spinning without stoping...
Still investigating... any tips are very welcome...
Thank you again.

Hi Carlos, We're looking at Selection Sequence No. 4, page 32 of your manual. Is the current limiting lamp OK, parts list page 68, item 28? What about the pushbutton selection switches, have you cleaned them?
Norman.

Hi Norman, light is ok, what I,m going to do now, is following just the route of only one selection, for example, A-1 and check if it works after cleaning that track and verify the circuit as you explained above...
The estrange it is sometimes after twice or three times turning, make the whole cycle.
Thanks for your patient.

Hi Norman, I found two problems;
1---the inner carriage sometimes "write in" a wrong selection... for example if select f5 the selector levers came in "play" position in different letter and number... doesnt match...
2---the outer carriage doest release the lever which were wrote in right.... I mean outer carriage don,t seem to beat the levers with golden hammer to release the selections made.

Hi Carlos, There is usually some sort of pattern to wrong selections? The circuit for the reset coils is shown on page 44. When one of the two doesn't work, it would normally either be the reset coil itself has failed, dirty or stcking A-B snap switch or dirty track/bad contact on the read-out printed circuit disc.

Hi Norman;
The inner carriage always works very fast.
First I,m solving the coils problems, which seems to be at the outer carriage or parts belonging to it, as we talked above.
The fact is, just for once, it made the whole cycle very fast; both carriages worked very softly and fast, and the magazine motor came and stopped at rest position...but soon started to delay the cycle at the outer carriage...that means something is working randomly...I,m not 100% sure if the reset coil is working all the time... the multimeter measure was fine... the were value ohms between contacts.
I have cleaned the tracks and wipers once more...
ab snap switch also... that seems to work fine... everytime gets contact, the speed of magazine motor comes lower a bit, and seems is going to complete the cycle, but not... still spining and spining again...
Regards. Carlos.

Hi Norman; I have brand news. I checked everything without success, so at the end, I disassembled the outside carriage, to check the contacts coils etc, as we talked above. and Voila!!! I found the two spring contacts that magnetice the levers and ( come from play..to off read in google), with a metal platen behind them... those pieces are rusty, checked them with multimeter and no power flow through them Thats one of the reason the magazine doesnt 98% of times.... I say one of the reason, because I realice every step I take there are problems,,, could there be some more, but I hope not... ( the machine is not in a very good condition) Now I,m going to give me myself a couple of days to sort out this issue... treat with emory paper and Spanish liquid called OXINO to remove the rusty part... similar to anyone else The fact is, there are plenty of reasons that a rockola can fail... thanks for your help and patience... I will be back as soon as sort it out and see what happen now... hope i can sort it out ibb.co/gTQkwWDRegards Carlos
