I am working on a Rockola 453 and hoping someone with a working juke, or similar model, could get some photos and a video for me.
WOBBLE PLATE SOLENOID: I am missing the plunger and spring. Will get one made up but would like to see if anything else is missing.
LOCKBAR SOLENOID / UNIT UNDER THE PUSHBUTTONS:
After a video that shows the sequence of selecting a record via the push buttons, after the credit has been added. The lockbar solenoid is not activating for me. Machine shows "Select any single" on power up so believe that is "freeplay" but the buttons don't do anything. If i manually move the lockbar solenoid the carriage coil arm moves. If I manually push a selector lever the record will be selected, played and returned with no issues. Any advice appreciated.
Also would not having the the wobble plate working properly cause the issue with the record selection?
Pete

Hi Pete, First of all, it usually helps to let us know what part of the world you're located. Secondly and only my personal opinion, I think a good manual beats a video. For example, the parts catalogue clearly shows the wobble plate parts The lockbar solenoid is not energised when credit is added but after the second number button has been depressed. Again this is clearly explained in the manual around page 23 along with how the relevant circuits operate. Norman.

Hi Norman
I'm located in Brisbane Australia. I have had this jukebox sitting in my shed for a few years and want to add it to my games room that has a bunch of arcades and pinballs.
That exploded schematic is what i need, I just found that I already had the parts catalogue on a hard drive. These manuals are pretty comprehensive.
With the selection, nothing happens when pressing the 1st digit be it correct or incorrect number pressed. Will test the record side relay and selection control PCB.
Thanks
Pete
