I owe an apology .The stopping switches DO brake the transfer motors too, by shorting the brushes creating dynamic braking, sorry. I checked my cam switches for proper timing and while they are correct , I caught it screwing up. Cam switch activator kept right on going even though the contacts were open . Jamming the mech tight. Now when I shut the dc switch off the reversing relay buzzes like a door bell, until I activate the cutoff switch. Stopping for dinner now but I think I'm onto something. sorry for the misinformation

Well I may have found it. The wire from the reverse relay coil , where soldered to connector pin had broken away from the pin and was shorting to the next pin. Basically dead short across the reversing relay coil.
We'll see if this also fixes the problem of transfer motor traveling too far and jamming. Like Norman says ,that's usually a stopping switch. I know when the transfer motor ran continuously , activating 8&9 cam switch merely slowed it down, not stop it.
