Just got this box mechanically working good,so now it's on to the amplifier.
I noticed I wasn't getting any ( or very little) sound out of the right speaker (grill removed so bottom speakers not connected yet)
When I put the amp to mono, get sound out of both speakers-speaker is good.
So I order a cap kit for the amp.Was going to do this anyway once mech was working.
Question is,what if anything else should I look at or replace when I have the amp out?

From what you've written you may have a fault on one channel that may not be fixed by replacing capacitors. But if you have a good channel that can be used as a reference to fault find the other channel. What else should you do - maybe clean switches etc, look for components showing ditress (eg burn marks) or physical damage.
