Hello,
Recapping a 1975 Seeburg STD2 Entertainer. Going board to board and an inductor is bad. Question is, I read "500 MH" as 500 Mega Henry, but 500 Mega Henry inductors are huge, or is it milli henry, of micro henry? It is larger than most of the other components but not that large. Full description is "500 MH" and "JARRY" and the description in the schematic is "53-306792 500 MH Inductor"
Thanks!

Hi Rudy, It's almost certainly milli henries. You could compare its physical size and weight with inductors available from Hammond; after all, an inductor is nothing but a coil of wire.

Thanks Norman. Kinda what I was thinking just wanted a validation from someone that has had experience. Now comes the task of finding a 500 milli henry inductor. Amazing to me how few options there are out there. Thanks again! Rudy

What application is it used in, I'm not familiar with the STD series?

in some Seeburg amps there is an inductor between the channels to spread the low bass between the channels giving a bit more to the low bass originating from the far left or right.
if that is where it is in the circuit it is not necessary
