Rockola capri 100 bass sound

Hello Jukenorman and everyone in forum.

I started to restore a rockola capri 100 some months ago and I promised to download some pics, havent done yet because I have not finished the restoration. I,m doing cosmetic works.

I would like to expose a question about the sound of this machine.

Maybe it is my perception of sound , but bass are not very deep. Sound is not bad, but the top speakers sound very low as well.


The jukebox is in a small room and bass and treble knobs are maximium level.

It's hard to say if your bass response is correct without hearing the machine in person, but there are several things to consider which may affect the sound.

Has the amp been recently re-capped? If not, I'd consider this first.

Thank you jukeboxmarty, I have only changed the two top speakers ones... if I would found axial caps I would change them, I was wondering if there would be any more reasons... i also have tried with differents cartridges and seems to be lack of bass...

Anyway, If i dont find any more reasons I will wait... I have to do a lot of cosmetic jobs before finishing restoration...
