I was trying to replace one of the T12 fluorescent lamps in a Rock-Ola CD88 jukebox and I guess the heat from the lamp made the upper socket brittle because it broke into several pieces when I twisted the bulb, and of course a wire must have touched metal cause I saw a small spark and everything quit working. I've got the socket replaced and I've looked around for a fuse or a reset button with no luck. I was hoping someone could tell me where a fuse would be located before I started opening every box inside there. There is power where the cord plugs in but nothing inside. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not too familiar with late model Rock-Ola's but do you mean a CD8-B model?

Rock-Ola CD8B no power problem solved. The power cord connects to a single unit containing the input power socket, the on/off switch and 4 output wires. There was no power on the output wires, so I figured the switch was bad and would need to be replaced. There was a wiring diagram on the side of the power switch unit showing some electronic parts inside, so I decided to take it apart to see if I could replace something, and lo and behold if there wasn't a fuse hidden inside there that was blown. Replaced the fuse, put it all back together and it works fine. In my personal opinion, I think it's pretty crappy of Rock-Ola to hide a fuse that controls power for the entire jukebox inside a power switch that probably 90% of people would not disassemble. I'm sure any decent engineer could have designed it so the fuse would have been easily accessible without the need to disassemble parts that weren't meant to be taken apart.
