Rockola 443 motor problems

Help! Have a Rockola 443 that will play record and put record up and then the write in works and read out works and then the carousel turns to right place but motor never starts turning. I put a drill on motor and turned until started playing. After record played, it returned it to carousel and then started progress until it got to point that motor was supposed to kick on and then stopped again. Any help would be apprciated.

I would take a look at the cam switches.
If it works in reverse,it sounds like your switch is either not set properly,disconnected,or faulty.
Check all connections
