Carriage will only go right Acted like it wanted to go left but wouldn't so I gave it a little push and lost power. Burnt the 5 amp fuse Could it be motor bearings? I have the motor removed now and checked continuity on all four wire it's good.

Have you checked the reversing switch? If the motor does work properly going one direction, it doesn't sound like it would be a motor bearing. I could be wrong though.

Kinda. Lol Not sure I did it right But there is continuity between contacts. What is the right way to check the switch.
I'm kind of a rookie.
Thank you

You can flip the paddle by hand and make sure both positions have continuity. And make sure the contacts are clean.

That is the first thing I did, after a good cleaning of mechanics, and switch worked properly. Then I started to think it was the motor so I tore into that

Now I am blowing the 5 amp fuse whenever I plug in J502 ,which goes to m echanism. Does anyone have some advice. I have checked contact switches, seem to be ok. Don't know what to do next! Thank you

You possibly have a short somewhere - is there an easy way to find it, not particularly that I know of, I'm afraid! I would guess it's around the reversing switch, there are some links across the contacts there that might be suspect and also it's an area that has been interfered with. You could temporarilly install a resettable fuse or alternatively power up via a dim bulb tester (google it if you are not familiar with that). But I don't think there's any alternative to checking out the wiring against what is shown in the electrical hook up diagram to identify the problem. The reversing switch switches the polarity of one of the motor windings.

Thank you Norman I appreciate your advice This Seeburg Q100 MH was given to me so I would really love to get it working. According to previous owner it worked until they moved. And of course they did not prep it to be moved. Any way. Thank you
