Hi Darol, I don't know where you would get one of these, especially a guaranteed working one. You could maybe try Rick Murray at www.jukeboxrepairman.com/ or keep an eye on ebay? The defective board that you have should be repairable, again I don't know who would do that for you, not least because I am on the other side of the world! Tackling the repair yourself might be a challenge since you are inexperienced - you only have to read through this thread to see the knots that's it's possible to get tied up in! jukeboxaddicts.proboards.com/thread/4134/477-max-volume-left-channelBy the way if you do get one or have it repaired, don't forget that you will need to set the biasing as detailed in the manual. Norman.

Sorry Norman. I got side tracked. Again, I really appreciate all your help with this. I've been checking around for a repair or a replacement, which ever comes first. So far, nothing. I'll keep after it and something will eventually work out.

OK. This might be a stupid question, but just a thought. I haven't been able to find a replacement Driver Board No.49125A OR anyone that can fix it so far. My question is, can a guy cross the L & R wires behind the cartridge and connect both speaker wire sets to the right speaker connection on the back and just have mono, which probably wouldn't be very noticeable with the speakers only maybe a foot apart up front. Good or bad idea? Maybe causing myself more problems than I have now?

Funnily enough I nearly suggested that earlier in the thread but then I thought that we probably shouldn't be promoting "dubious habits"! No need to do anything with the cartridge, there is a mono button on the amp which will do it for you. Connecting both sets of speakers to the one channel is what the operators would have done on location when one channel went down and something I have come across many times.
Norman.

Thanks Norman. I'll give it a try.
