First post.....from an extreme novice. I inherited my Seeburg several years ago from my father. Oh, the memories of dancing in the living room. It made him so happy.
PROBLEM: Jukebox initially began not finding any records on the "A" side. The head would cycle back and forth twice before parking in the home position. Several months later, the Jukebox began having the exact symptoms on the "B" side.
I understand this probably isn't a simple fix. Would be nice if there were sensors that may be dirty, but I certainly wasn't going to tear into this thing without at least throwing the issue out to the experts for conversion.

Do you have a service manual? It's hard to give advise or suggestions without a common reference that the service manual provides. There are many things that may cause your issue.
The first thing I would check are the fine wires that connect to the 'contact plungers' on the 'contact plunger block' that rides underneath the 'Tormat memory unit'. These wires break off often.

Thanks, Marty.
I have a service manual on its way. In the meantime, I'll poke my head in and see if I can locate what you've described.

Hi, Marty. I received my manual several days ago. Looking at the back of the jukebox, I see one tiny wire that's connected on 1 end but not the other. I assume that's the wire you're talking about. The other end came off as I was moving around. Maybe it's safe to assume that the second wire is completely missing? Is there any way to upload pictures? I don't see any, so I'm assuming no.
