100J Won't make a selection

Hi Everyone

Woking on a 100J, when you make a selection there is a loud humming sound but nothing moves.

The unit will scan back and fourth using the lever but never takes a selection, keys do lock down when making a selecion.

Any suggestions appreciated.

A guess: Could a relay in the credit unit stay energized?
Another guess: The latch bar solenoid stays attracted.
