Just acquired a Seeburg LS1, need advice...

Hi, I just aquired a Seeburg Ls1 in a grimy, dusty, greasy mess. I'm a complete novice.. What would be the best cleaning agent to use? Mechanically all seems well with the Jukebox although I think the top display record cover window is not spinning.. The main issue I have is that although you can hear the stylus playing there is no sound coming from the speakers, how do you access the top of the cabinet to check speaker connections.. All info would be helpful, thank you.

I would start troubleshooting with the amplifier, this is the most likely cause for no sound. The speakers rarely go out.

The 'speaker grille assembly' would need to be removed for speaker access. There are screws holding the frame at the bottom of that assembly.

Do you have a manual? A manual would give you lots of insight, and allow a common reference point when you are requesting help.
