Hello everyone and especially to those Seeburg experts....to which I am not one....but working on getting better at solving my own problems when they come up...but I need some help with this one. First, the unit is on free play and has worked good for at least 15 to 20 years. When I make ANY selection, it goes to A1 and plays A1, then A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9, & A0 then does the double scan and shuts off. If anyone has any experience with these units and can give me some assistance that would be greatly appreciated. I am pretty handy with the units and have a good electronics background, but I just don't know where to go with this unit. If you want to call, please do, my number is xxx-xxx-xxxx (See forum rule #5, Forum rules) Thanks, Danny

So if you select for instance K9, it will only play A1 though A0? Will it then play K9?

That sounds like a very interesting problem! Do you know how the free play has been done?

It would be very remiss not to point out that by running that ground wire, you are linking out the fuse - caveat emptor indeed!
Probably the same result would be achieved by cleaning up the tormat plug/socket, Ron wrote a "sticky" on that.
