Hi folks,
last year I celebrated my 40th birthday and wanted to make a 70's party.
And I wanted to play music from a jukebox, cause I've been fascinated about these lovely machines.
Therefore a friend of mine had a Seeburg DS-160.
It was in a good condition but wasn't working.
With the help of many ressources on the internet I got it work again.
The party was great with just playing music from the juke.
Well, because my friend didn't want to sell the box, all of my friends bought me another DS-160 as a present!
I was so impressed!
At this box, I did everything a box at this age has to be done.
I eben managed to buy the ears in a fabric new condition!
Then I got a stepper and even a 160-selection wallbox!
And what should I say, I'm now fully infected with the juke-Virus!
I was very sad as phonoland was closed and shut-down.
Now, I'm happy to see a new forum and hope that with this, many machines will come back to life!
