Mauro, I scanned in a diagram from my 1955 RCA tube book. www.flickr.com/photos/90641375@N06/28267085198/This was what I used back when modding amp with octal inputs -but I didn't keep any notes and just "winged it". There probably a lot of other circuits that can be used here -as long as you remove the eq. and add a pot to trim the gain. RobNYC

Hey hey, I'm back. Surgery went great, I'm home and should be back on this amp and building a preamp in no time. Stay tuned, more questions to come! Mauro

Hi Mauro,
The bass on these Seeburg amps is turned down as the volume control is turned up. I think the bass is fine but the resistor on the input that bleeds signal off to ground should be clipped out. Mine only has a cap at the input but the schematic shows a resistor.
You can boost the output sound by jumping out the 330 resistor on pin 3 of the 6SN7. This will compensate for the 70's cartridge.

Hi Ben, I've done the piggybacked resistor and increased the input resistor to 470K. I'm good with the sound now but need to get rid of the squealing. I started another topic thread to deal with this. Thanks, Mauro
