With the tone arm across and the diode terminal reading 0V, is there still -32V on the other coil terminal? In which case, it's the coil.

Ok. Can’t find one easily. The one in line is not available. Going to see if I can get an alternative

Did you check the voltage as per my last post to make sure it's definitely the coil? Are you in the UK, I'll have a reversing relay - message me.

Hi Norman,
So I bought a 24 v din rail and relay from Amazon. Bit difficult to work out because the original is not DPDT. One half the ground side is ST.
Anyway with a lot of drawing it out I extended all the wiring with wago connections. Wired it all up and it’s worked! Jut got to find a good position for the din rail. If it will help someone else I could write it up. Thanks for your help on this. It took a bit of understanding. BTW the coil on the old one was open.

As you have discovered, a standard relay will work OK as a replacement. Is that it fully functional?

Well nearly. The A/B arm needs to come off and be oilled. I the only other thing, which is wrong is when I select a B side the pin does not get reset. Just working on that sequence. Looks like it’s not firing.

I re lubricated the AB arm and cleaned the wiper tracks and wipers. B sides now good. One things has come up. When the interlock coils disconnect I get a pop on the speakers. Quite loud. I also get hum from the turntable motor. I assume new grommets will be needed. Not sure why I am getting the popping ?

It might not be the coils, it might be the contacts causing the interference. Generally if cleaning the contacts doesn't help, you can try high voltage 0.01uF capacitors to suppress the noise. Yes new grommets and service the motor.
