Well, I think I figured out how to attach a photo!
I've enjoyed owning a 1949 Wurlitzer 1100 since 1990. I bought it fully restored and over the years have had to do the required small repairs. A few years ago I got the urge to acquire a broken golden age juke and fix it up so that it's again usable. I found this Wurlitzer 750-E on Craigslist. It had been restored in the mid 1980s but several years ago the owner passed away so his family ended up with this. It had fallen into disrepair but was all there. After purchasing it along with a month of tinkering and a pile of new parts, I had a beautiful and working 750-E. It's on 78s and is loaded with 1940s tunes.
I love problem solving the mechanical issues that I run across. And I'm slowly becoming better with wood repairs. But electricity is my final frontier. I'm trying to learn whatever I can but I realize that this is my biggest weakness.
Thanks in advance to all of you on this board for sharing your jukebox knowledge and information with me.
Bill
