So far I haven't found an exact ID for it. I've tried unsuccessfully to remove the plate that all of the linkage is fixed to with no avail. The roller sits under the release lever, right of the clutch shift lever. I'm not certain but I may have to strip off everything on the tone arm side of the mech.

Do you have a parts catalog ? All parts are clearly ID'ed there ! I don't understand exactly what your problem is, nor who's red "wording" that is, but what it calls the "reset lever", is pointing to the Detent/Trip lever ( read the mech guide for operation) If that "hiddge" located roller is on a shaft that has become "wobbly", yes, you will need to repair it. --a real nasty job ! Update, finally got it fixed. The roller was fine but the shaft on the trip lever assembly that the roller sits on was the cause of the issue. I took the assembly out, what a pain in the ass that was, and then I repressed it on my bench vice. This tightened it all up again and has been working for several weeks without issue.
