Hi All
I was just taking a look at my 147M, and the flocking that was used on the record platters (you know, the platters that the 78 rpm records sit on in the trays...) is (of course) disintegrating.
I will likely use a thin rubber coating on them.
Does anyone know what that flocking material was made of...sanded two last night, until the word "asbestos" came to mind...
Thanks!
Steve

Hi Steve, I don't think 'flocking" used asbestos-- ? You can purchase "flocking kits", from most of the suppliers listed in our FAQ's section--- Ron Rich
